Job Vacancy: Farmstrong Scotland Community Engagement Specialist

If you have a knack for building relationships and connections, this role could be for you. This individual will create opportunities with communities and organisations so we can promote Farmstrong Scotland messages and tools.

  • 2 to 3 days per week

  • Employed or Self-Employed

  • Flexible Working

  • Inital Two Year Contract

  • Home-working or Office-based (Edinburgh) considered

What does this role include?


Initiates and responds to opportunities from national, regional and local organisations to open up their channels and networks to share Farmstrong messages, tools and resources and/or create Farmstrong events.


Create opportunities with communities and organisations so they support and help scale Farmstrong.


Works alongside Farmstrong team members and suppliers and follows up on engagement opportunities created by the Programme Director and Board members.


Grows and oversees the network of Farmstrong supporters, champions and those donating their time to Farmstrong.


Be the point of contact for follow up with individuals and organisations who express an interest in supporting or getting involved with Farmstrong.


Provide Farmstrong community liaison for localised community events and fundraising activity including orientation to what Farmstrong is all about.


Provides support to other initiatives, as required.
